richard jemmett, chief executive officer and founding director
Having worked in the utilities sector for more than 20 years, Richard brings invaluable
experience to the management team. He joined British Gas in 1980 and began his career there
by developing and maintaining London's gas distribution system.In the late 1980s, Richard switched to British Gas' overseas division and was responsible for the development of commercial and investment projects in the Middle East and the Former Soviet Union. Richard worked for Arthur Andersen between 1996 and 2001 where he capitalised on his experience with new markets, helping clients grasp opportunities made available in the deregulating utility markets of the UK and Europe. phil fletcher, chief operating officer and founding director
After completing his professional training, Phil joined Vivendi where he worked with a
number of water companies within the group, including General Utilities Projects and Three
Valleys Water. Phil's last position at Vivendi was as an area operations manager, responsible
for the delivery of water services to some 250,000 industrial, commercial and domestic
customers in the northern Home Counties.Prior to co-founding waterexchange, Phil worked at Arthur Andersen as a member of the Energy and Utilities Business Consulting team where he advised clients across the utilities sector. stephan morais, founding director
Stephan is a former consultant with Arthur Andersen's Business Consulting division, specialising
in helping European utilities formulate and execute growth strategies. Prior to that, Stephan
worked with Halcrow Management Sciences, helping the World Bank and several governments in
Africa, Asia and South America integrate the private sector into the publicly-owned water
